Pernix Culture
Culture: the most misunderstood and distorted word that often people use to refer to an expected behavior for them on other people. Haven’t you hear someone saying “they lack of culture”? That is the most ridiculous expression that I keep hearing in my life, I learned about culture in high school, I remember my teacher trying to explain us that culture is a set of behaviors and conducts that a group a people often practice as tradition, religion, social, habits and many more, in fact I want to quote a definition from the internet: “Culture is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, encompassing language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts.” -LiveScience
Culture is so important for our lives because we make part of a big society, we tend to behave as a collective, there’re many decisions we make as a culture like communication, political decisions, recreational time and many more. No culture is either good or bad, it is just what it is, and this affects all humans as part of the world.
We also have subcultures and I think Pernix has a strong one, I had the chance to meet the office at Terra Campus, the feeling when you enter that office is so different from other, the goal is being a Software Crafter, actually not just Software Crafter, you want to become the better version of Software Crafter, with this in mind people work hard, collaborate with their peers and stablish a method to accomplish goals everyday as a team and as and individual, there’re so many key components on Pernix that makes it a very special company, for example the Apprentice Program, this is a really good implementation to create Software Crafters, I know a very large list of people that had work on Pernix as an Apprentice and today they are brining value to this country opening teams or making part of very interesting projects.
I think that the most notorious trait of Pernix is collaboration, beyond that, this is a very special place to learn and grown as a professional.
